Details:

For months, our German butcher pursued a simple but ambitious goal: to craft a sausage with the perfect balance of flavor and texture. He experimented with different cuts of meat and spice blends, tirelessly refining each batch. Some were good, but not quite right. Something was missing.

Then, after countless trials, he found it—the recipe that convinced him this was the one. He shared it with family, friends, and customers, and the verdict was unanimous: this sausage was a winner!

The result? A sausage with a texture similar to the classic German Thüringer Bratwurst but slightly coarser. Flavor-wise, it blends the spices of the Nürnberger and Thüringer Bratwurst without any single note overpowering the others. And unlike most of our sausages, this one is notably lower in salt—allowing its natural flavors to shine.

We call it the “BBQ Banger Bratwurst”. Encased in a delicate sheep casing, it’s thinner and longer, making it quick and easy to prepare—whether on the grill, in a frying pan, or in an air fryer.

Like all our German sausages, it is crafted locally in Taiwan, using original recipes and high-quality ingredients. Enjoy it with traditional German sauerkraut (fermented cabbage), your favorite potato dish, or in a fresh German bread roll with a generous dollop of authentic German mustard.

 

Preparation:

Grill the unfrozen sausages on a hot BBQ or fry on medium-high level with some oil for several minutes until both sides are golden brown.

 

Ingredients:

Pork, sheep casing (New Zealand), water, salt, spices, garlic, glucose, sodium phosphate.

 

Scope of Delivery:

1 package BBQ Banger Bratwurst. 1 package contains 3 sausages. Total weight: 270 g +-5 %.

 

Storage Instructions:

Refrigerate after opening and consume within 5 days. The frozen sausages last 6 months.
