Details:

“Leberkäse” is a traditional German meatloaf that, despite its name, does not contain liver. The name translates to “liver cheese,” but it’s a bit misleading since the main ingredients are finely ground meat and it doesn’t include liver. Leberkäse has a unique and savory flavor and is popular in Germany and parts of Austria.

Our “Leberkäse Meatloaf” consists of finely ground meat, onions, and various spices. It is mixed to form a smooth and homogeneous meat mixture. The meat mixture is traditionally baked in a rectangular mold, resulting in a loaf-like shape. It can be sliced and served in various ways.

One of the most popular ways to enjoy “Leberkäse Meatloaf” is as a sandwich filling. Simply place 1 or 2 slices of it between bread rolls and eat it plain or with mustard. You can also add a fried egg to it.

Our German “Leberkäse Meatloaf” is proudly produced locally in Kaohsiung from pork and seasoned with a mix of spices.

Preparation:

1) Preheat the oven to 150 °C.

2) Put the frozen meatloaf in the middle of the oven.
